Dear Chamber Members,

On December 1, 2025, I will celebrate 24 years of leading the Washington County Chamber of Commerce—a journey that has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It will also mark the beginning of my retirement.

Serving as your President and CEO has been an incredible privilege. Together, we have built a stronger business community, advocated for policies that support growth and innovation, and fostered connections that have made Washington County a place where businesses and people thrive. Every milestone we have achieved has been possible because of you—our dedicated members, partners, and friends—who make this Chamber what it is today.

As we prepare for this transition, I want to assure you that the Chamber’s future is in great hands. The Board of Directors has launched a search committee and will be working with a national search firm to identify the next leader who will continue this important work. This process will be thoughtful, strategic, and inclusive, ensuring a seamless transition that upholds our mission of supporting and advocating for businesses across our community.

As we approach this transition, I am deeply grateful for the relationships, partnerships, and friendships built over the past 24 years. This Chamber—and this community—means so much to me, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside you as we move forward together.

With deepest appreciation,

Deanna Palm
President & CEO
