Career Events Video Archive
We are arranging a new way for you to access the career event videos from the past school years. In the meantime, you can request access to specific videos by emailing your request to KarenD@wcchamber.org.
Welcome to our in-person/hybrid and virtual career events and academies from the past three school years! We have separated most videos into separate categories to make them easier to locate. Our categories include Medical and Health, Law and Legal, S.T.E.M and Computer Science, Construction and Architecture, Business and Marketing, Fine Arts, and General Events.
Additionally, if there is a specific career event from a previous school year but you’re unable to find it, it may be unavailable due to privacy reasons.
If you are a teacher and want access to view any recorded event from last year, please click Request Access to Archive below and fill out the Request Access form.
Teachers Resources
We will record Career Events whenever possible. Events from the current school year will be available on the Events page for viewing by additional students or for use in classrooms.
In addition, teachers and counselors may request access to recordings from previous years. Look at our Career Video Archive for a list of available videos arranged by topic. Please allow 2 business days for us to provide you with the link.
Guest Speakers – Career Events built for class needs
School to Career is now providing Hillsboro School District High School and Middle School Teachers with Guest Speakers to connect your classes with career information from professionals.
Please allow at least 6 weeks between the time you submit a request and the first possible class time you’d like to fill. If multiple requests come in for a particular speaker or topic, School to Career will allow the presenter to choose the date and time that works best for their schedule from the requested choices. We will encourage the presenter to choose the earliest possible time, but we cannot guarantee volunteer availability. Guest Speaker events will also be open for registration for other students to join and will be recorded for later use if the speaker agrees.
Career Events and Academies
All high school students are welcome to sign up for any Career Event – even those that are part of a designated Academy. Seniors have priority for Academies if the events should fill.
This year’s Academy topics are:
Medical and Mental Health Careers – TBA
Law and Legal Services Careers – TBA
Nursing Careers – TBA
STEM/ Science, Engineering, and Computer Science Careers – TBA
Build your own Academy – Students may select a group of Career Events that match their interests; for example, mixing events from Law and Legal Academy with Mental Health Academy events, or selecting a group of Business events and Art events to learn about starting a creative company.

- Career counselors at served schools have the availability to view student attendance, resume uploads, and registrations. Please email School to Career to receive your school’s information.
